ABOUT-form
The challenge of solving a rubik's cube is comparable to the process of designing a quality building. Like each square on the cube, every component of a building is interdependent and must be considered carefully to assess its impact on the whole. At the micro level the integration of systems such as mechanical, electrical and structural must seamlessly flow with aesthetics and the function of space. At the macro level factors such as environmental context, zoning by-laws and financial viability must also be considered. It is the guiding principle at Rubix-Form that a design solution is not achieved until all aspects of a design work together as a unified whole.
Rubix-form was founded by Jeremy Johnson, who holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) from the Carleton School of Architecture and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Waterloo (M.Arch). Jeremy has extensive experience in residential design and is passionate about minimalism expressed through the elegance of efficiently organized spaces and distilled architectural form. Jeremy's built designs can be found in Toronto, Ottawa, Gatineau and numerous other locations across Southern Ontario.
